Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I hope this message finds you all well.
On behalf of the Executive Board of the Semiotic Society of America, I would like to thank our colleague Javier Clavere who has served our Semiotic Society of America for 6 years during one of the most challenging times, dealing with a global pandemic and unexpected administrative tasks. Due to extended professional work and academic responsibility, Javier has decided to step aside.
It is my real pleasure that I introduce our new Executive Director Joseph DeChicchis who is immediately appointed to such a post by the Search Committee. Joseph is ready to respond to the opportunities and challenges ahead. He will bring his vision for sustainability, international networking, collaborative leadership, and commitment to accountability to the Semiotic Society of America.
